Designer Elke Hechler is showing off her own collection of statement baubles at Only One Gallery (88 Harbord, until August 16 with an exhibition called Today’s Warrior. A group of Sheridan College Craft and Design students are showing their work at MADE (867 Dundas West, 416-607-6384, this month. Half A Dozen features Jessie McEwen, Andrea Poorter, Lyne Reid, Annemarie Row, Emma Smith and Nurielle Stern, who all reimagine and recreate household objects in ceramics. The opening reception is Saturday (August 11) from 2 to 5 pm, and the show continues until August 25.
